John McKenna of Bridgestone Guides gives us his top choice. "The good value early bird in Bentley's on St Stephen's Green is hard to better. With €20 you can buy classy food like rare veal liver, proper scampi, hand cut chips and if you sit at the bar and have a glass of wine, it's the urban experiencewrit large and well". Early bird Monday to Friday, 5.30pm-6.30pm, two courses €19.75 and three courses €24.50.
